Refresh Booster: For Calm

I’ve been using this booster facial serum for around two weeks now and I must say I am pretty impressed! The formula absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed without any weird greasy residue. I love that it contains mushroom extract, for my skin it really seems to help soothe redness and irritation, especially after long days outside. A little does go a long way and my skin feels softer and looks a lot healthier overall. It layers beautifully under moisturizer and makeup too. The compact bottle is perfect for tossing in my purse if I need to cleanse on the go or want to travel with it. It has definitely been a great addition to my skincare lineup and I’ll be repurchasing more when I run out! Five stars!

I’ve been using this serum for a little while now, and while it does have some nice qualities, it wasn’t a game changer for my skin. The texture is very lightweight and absorbs quickly, which makes it easy to layer with other products. It doesn’t leave behind any sticky or greasy feeling, which I really appreciate.The formula has calming ingredients like chamomile and mushroom extract, and I did notice that my skin felt a little less irritated right after application. However, beyond that instant soothing effect, I didn’t see any big improvements in hydration or overall skin texture. It’s not bad—it didn’t cause breakouts or redness—but it also didn’t give me the kind of noticeable results I usually look for in a serum.. I’d say this is fine if you want something simple and gentle to add into your routine, but if you’re hoping for more dramatic results, you might find it a little underwhelming.

If I had to sum it up, the Pour Tous Base Serum is excellent for someone who wants a gentle daily glow, cares about barrier health, and likes customizing their skincare rather than using one fixed product. It’s earned a regular spot in my routine, especially mornings. I have dry skin type, slightly senesitive. One of the first things I noticed (within the first week) was that patches of redness on my cheeks calmed down. I’d get inflamed spots from environmental stress (wind, pollen, etc.), and this serum seemed to buffer that. The serum’s consistency is very lightweight—almost watery with just enough slip. It absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky layer. On nights I use it, I wake up and feel it's effectiveness, with my skin feeling smoother and less reactive. I've used other serums before but this one is unique, because it's a booster, so I actually layer it on. The 30 mL size is reasonable. After 2 weeks (twice a day), I’d estimate I’m about a quarter through. So for the price, it feels fairly good value.

Calming and refreshing, my skin loves this boost! It can be added to serum or used alone. With all natural ingredients, it nourishes too. My skin is happy!
